I have been employed with Sumter School District Two for 31 years, serving as principal of F. J. DeLaine Elementary School for nineteen years. I have 35 years of experience at the elementary level with 30 of those years devoted to principalship.
I received a B. S. in Elementary Education from Morris College in 1965 and a Master's in Language Arts and Mathematics in 1973 and Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Multicultural Education from thee University of Houston in 1976.
I served our country proudly in the U. S. Army from 1968-1971. I enjoy traveling and sightseeing.
